What are the primary goals of the Criminal Justice system? In your opinion, are these goals being accomplished? Asked by Dani - Fri May 29 22:19:34 2009 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. There are three different sections of the criminal justice system. The police who solve crimes and make arrests. The court who sentences the offender. The corrections system that carries out the punishment and rehabilitates the offenders. The police do there job they arrest and charge the offenders. The courts then give the offender a slap on the wrist. Then the offender after being arrested enough times will go to prison and learn to be a better criminal. The system is not perfect, but it is the best that we have. I would prefer that we do something more like China and bring the guilty into the street and put a bullet in the back of their head. That will never happen in the USA though. Answered by Don Juan - Fri May 29 22:27:50 2009 What should I do when a judge and prosecutor obstruct justice and make a mockery of the court system?
Q. I went to a preliminary hearing in Hanover County, VA General District Court presided over by Judge Peter Trible and the prosecutor was Steve Royalty. They hid evidence from the court and I was not allowed to speak and couldn't so much as enter a plea. The victim perjured himself twice on the witness stand. My lawyer whom I paid cash to worked against me and failed to cross examine witnesses properly. This has all the trappings of a kangaroo court. How can these people continue to make a mockery of the justice system and get away with it. These judges and lawyers have taken an oath which they have totally ignored. At this time I need someone to file a writ of habeas corpus for me or show me how to do it.
