A. I don't feel anything except contempt for people who WON'T help themselves out of a situation and blame anyone for their"plight" except themselves. And the injustice in THAT is, they expect tax payers to feed and clothe them! They call it "Entitlement" ! One thing that sticks in my mind is, when two people commit the same offence, one poor, and the other rich and has connections, the poor guy usually lands up doing hard time in jail for years, and the rich guy gets a slap on the wrist, and at the very most, gets a couple of months in a white collar jail facility!!! Same offence, but different sentences!!! There's no justice in that!!! The Sheen case, is a good example! Injustice for some poor innocent slob with no money to pay for a… [cont.]

What Social Injustice is most important to you?
Q. There is plenty of injustice on this earth. Be specific. Thanks.

A. This is a great question. I wish we could give points for good questions, because this may be the best one I have seen on here. It is hard to answer though! There are so many problems on this Earth, from starvation to middle eastern anti-women sexuality acid throwing to inner city animal cruelty in the US. I guess it is this: The social injustice that is most important to me is world poverty and exploitation of the poor especially in Africa. That continent is a mess and it mostly the US and Europe to blame. We rape the continent for its natural resources and have not figured out a way to make reasonable government work there. The infant mortality rates are still high and the life expectancies are low. AIDS, War, child exploitation,… [cont.]

When a teacher commits an act of heinous injustice, can he just recite a proverb to get away with it?
Q. My teacher committed an unjust (and heinous) act. One of the girls raised her hand and point out the injustice. He recited a proverb. Was he trying to use misdirection with the proverb? By pretending to have some wisdom, was he able to mystify the students? Edit, Kentucky Guy, I doubt he was getting anyone to think; he wanted them to obey. Without thinking.

A. Wow, this is a really good topic! People hate because they're suffering. You can help them get what's bugging them off their chest, but you can't just ignore what they're saying as if it's completely wrong... Those are their feelings and must be dealt with somehow. Also, you might find that you are wrong about something. What's most important is LOVE... Only LOVE can conquer our hearts! With LOVE, we'll be able to listen to each other and come to a conclusion that doesn't involve injustice and intolerance. Sure, we'll become frustrated and act out in haste, but with LOVE, we can all come back to what's important... LOVE! One can't be TRULY converted by being told that they have to, or else. Also, punishment only further… [cont.]

Asked by hello - Wed Nov 21 03:22:28 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. injustice can be connotated as unfair. Justice which is the base word, is a law and order word to describe a fair decision to a crime. "In" is a negative prefix, which has the same meaning as "non." The word is used in court cases to prove to the jury and the judge that a type of punishment is not comparable to the crime that the criminal has committed. For example: Johnny killed his mother and the opposing side of the court might say that putting Johnny in jail for only three years is injustice; therefore, Johnny should be put on death-row to serve justice.

Is it necessary to govern over our lives? It is not injustice to collect taxes from a civilized citizen?
Q. How many courts, how many laws and how many rules can u count? evrywhere written constitutions saying that my citizens are happy, grateful but the reality is totally opposite. police system and courts, governments completely using for degraded citizens then why they collect taxes for expenditure from all citizens? why this kind of open injustice? the courts laws what they are doing, just front of them here is crimes are increasing why?
Asked by DAUOD M - Fri Nov 7 05:17:17 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Paying taxes is civilized as long as governments can be criticized and people have open, democratic elections. I pay taxes where I live for universal health care access, to help people who live in poverty, to have a caring animal control system, to have nice parks for everyone, to upgrade my water service from lead to copper, to have a good police force and an adequate public transportation system. I could go on for a long time. The more babies people have= the more government we need. Overpopulation is your biggest obstacle to less government.

A. That tens of thousands of people in the world die of malnutrition or easily prevented diseases everyday in third world countries while many Americans gripe about people helping them instead of helping Americans. The fact that people view the lives of people who happen to live in their country as somehow more valuable than the life of a child in another country is the greatest injustice in my opinion.

A. I always like to look to the roots of a word to get its meaning. Injustice is from the Latin 'ius, iuris' -- right or law (from the second form, the genitive, we get jury, jurisprudence etc.) What is unjust is what ain't right. For example, if I stepped on your toe and you killed me, people would say, "Hey! That ain't right. That was unjust. You shoulda just socked him one." It's hard to get fired up in this crazy world. I generally just say, "You were a silly billy to do that."

What kind of a lawsuit can a person bring against the DA or The court for an injustice case?
Q. Charging someone for a crime under penal code P.C. 290 because the district attorney mentioned "Well he thought of it" What kind of a lawsuit can this person bring up against the district attorney's office, and also against that court that passed such crime towards that person? Can you or should you seek help from the General Attorney's Office; which I not sure, do they suppose to look and investigate in situations as like this, other words, how do you or must you go to or turn to for help against an injustice case? Besides sweeping it under the rug, Etc.

A. The DA's office has immuniity unless the DA went out of their judicial authority and personally persued a case, i.e. the Duke case prosecuter. The DA is supposed to represent the people. One can file a civil claim against the police or victim if they feel that they had malicious motive but the DA is supposed to prosecute crimes based on what the Grand Jury finds an indictable case. If the DA does not submit the Not True bill to the Grand Jury or goes outside their judicial authority, then they can be held accountable but usually they have immunity.
