Injustice is the lack of or opposition to justice, either in reference to a particular event or act, or as a larger status quo. The term generally refers to misuse, abuse, neglect, or malfeasance that is uncorrected or else sanctioned by a legal system. Misuse and abuse with regard to a particular case or context may represents a systemic failure to serve the cause of justice (cf. legal vacuum). Injustice means "unfair." Injustice may be classified as a different system in comparison to different countries concept of justice and injustice.

According to Plato, he doesn't know what justice is but he knows what justice is not.

The Innocence Project provides a wealth of tragic cases in which the U.S. justice system prosecuted and convicted the wrong person.

A. I'm sorry, normally I'm happy to help with books and authors questions, but this is just too easy for you to not know if you read the book. Besides, this book is too wonderful NOT to be read by every American--or at least rent the movie with Gregory Peck. I will point you in the right direction, however. You have an innocent Black man in the deep South during the days of segregation accused of a crime against a white woman. You have a all-white male jury. What do you think is likely to happen? You need to read this. It's an easy read and a life-changing experience.
