some point in your life What the situations taught me was that if I hold onto resentments or spend my energy trying to figure out my next move it ends up hurting me more than anything I ve come to a place where I believe that justice is really based on the Law of Love The more I tune myself into a state of loving being and allowing the more I feel like my life is

most of us remain blind to this injustice Extravagant consumption is clearly wrong Unearned income is unjust income by the very dint of its being unearned Unearned equals undeserved If I consume more than I produce then I am unfairly exploiting my fellow people When I take an honest look at all that I consume it is perfectly obvious that someone else is toiling hard

What role does religion play in the fight against injustice ?
Q. I am doing a project for R.E and was wondering what part religion does play in injustice. It would also be very helpful if you could give me a few references to Christianity and Islam as well please.

A. Fighting injustice was what Jesus was all about. Those who follow his teachings make every effort to level the playing field for the poor and downtrodden. See the Beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount in the Book of Matthew (one source: ). The unfortunate side of the fight for injustice among the followers of Jesus is that often, they do not see themselves accurately and thus accept society's norms and mores rather than thinking for themselves, looking at what the culture accepts as normal that's really injustice, and saying, "Hey! That ain't right!" Someone else will have to support Islam.
