Injustice is the lack of or opposition to justice, either in reference to a particular event or act, or as a larger status quo. The term generally refers to the misuse, abuse, neglect, or malfeasance of a justice system, with regard to a particular case or context, such that the legal status quo represents a systemic failure to serve the cause of justice. Injustice means "unfair." Injustice may be classified as a different system in comparison to different countries concept of justice and injustice.

According to Plato, he doesn't know what justice is but he knows what justice is not.

What do you feel is the biggest 'injustice' you have ever seen?
Q. It could be anything. Small. Big. Personal to you. It doesn't have to be legal - it could be the fact your cat was fed rabbit for years. The biggest injustice as far as I am concerned was regarding Mother Teresa's death, or at least the coverage of it in the UK. Princess Diana died roughly at the same time - those ubiquitous sobs and calls for her to be a saint. Meanwhile, a true saint, who never knew any of the finer things in life, died with barely a mention on British TV. What about you?

what are some injustice cases that have occurred in years 2000-2008?
Q. I am doing a school project for english in which my group has to do a newsreport on injustice. We are relating this example of injustice that has happened in a modern day situation with the book A Lesson Before Dying. I have been searching online for some recent cases, that have happened in the past eight years and am having a hard time finding some big, worldwide known ones. Besides OJ Simpson, please, does anyone have any good ideas?

Q. I am studying for my religion exam and I am in need of a few examples of injustices. If possible, can you even give me some social injustices?

A. Misrecognition is the core of injustice - that is the failure of empathy. There is a sense in which we all seek to be recognized as being of worth, of value, that is, that we have meaning. When we fail to recognize another we are performing a kind of moral injury on someone else. In our society, we reward, that is we recognize a person according to their 'status' - now status is a product is a number of factors - material success - birth - job occupation - charm - education - good looks - and so on - If a person is born poor, if they don't have the money or social support to grow as an individual - to get a proper education - to find meaningful work - they are considered to be lower status. To say that someone has a lower status is at once… [cont.]
