Injustice is the lack of or opposition to justice, either in reference to a particular event or act, or as a larger status quo. The term generally refers to misuse, abuse, neglect, or malfeasance that is uncorrected or else sanctioned by a legal system. Misuse and abuse with regard to a particular case or context may represents a systemic failure to serve the cause of justice (cf. legal vacuum). Injustice means "unfair." Injustice may be classified as a different system in comparison to different countries concept of justice and injustice. According to Plato, he doesn't know what justice is but he knows what justice is not. The Innocence Project provides a wealth of tragic cases in which the U.S. justice system prosecuted and convicted the wrong person. See also blogs at InjusticeSpotlighter at blogspot [1]. Charging someone for a crime under penal code P.C. 290 because the district attorney mentioned "Well he thought of it" What kind of a lawsuit can this person bring up against the district attorney's office, and also against that court that passed such crime towards that person? Can you or should you seek help from the General Attorney's Office; which I not sure, do they suppose to look and investigate in situations as like this, other words, how do you or must you go to or turn to for help against an injustice case? The DA's office has immuniity unless the DA went out of their judicial authority and personally persued a case, i.e. the Duke case prosecuter. The DA is supposed to represent the people. One can file a civil claim against the police or victim if they feel that they had malicious motive but the DA is supposed to prosecute crimes based on what the Grand Jury finds an indictable case. If the DA does not submit the Not True bill to the Grand Jury or goes outside their judicial authority, then they can be held accountable but usually they have immunity. Answered by Eisbaer - Tue Apr 24 13:05:52 2007 Why is it important for Christians to respond to social injustice?
Q. Ok, RS GCSE test on Tuesday :/ and one of the questions is... "Explain why Christians think it is important to respond to social injustice" I know christians need to think about agape, they have a duty, they should not judge others, they need to be good in order to go to heaven, they need to follow Jesus' example... Other reasons? Thank you all (: Asked by Annabelle - Sat May 15 12:45:29 2010 - - 9 Answers - 0 Comments A. Jesus reached out to the outcasts in life. He didn't spend his time hanging out with all the righteous people but with those in need. He showed love to prostitutes, tax collectors, and the untouchables. Jesus condemned the pharisees many times. We usually hear that the pharisees were just "holier than thou." It's actually worse than that. The pharisees thought that the reason the people were occupied by Rome was because of tax collectors, roman collaborators, prostitutes, etc. They blamed the people for not being holy as the fault that they were not free. This does not follow the nature of God. They should have been helping these people rather than pointing fingers.
